Terms of Service

Last updated: June 12, 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to Teamwise, an esports team management platform for Counter-Strike 2, available at teamwise.gg (the “Platform”). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not accept them, you must stop using the Platform.

2. Definitions

“Platform”: the Teamwise web application available at teamwise.gg and its subdomains.

“User”: any person with an account on the Platform, created through Steam authentication.

“Team”: a group of Users organized around a competitive esport activity on the Platform.

“Content”: any data, text, image or media submitted to the Platform by a User.

“Demo”: a CS2 game recording (.dem file) uploaded to or collected by the Platform, together with the data derived from it (statistics, 2D replays).

“Subscription”: a paid Starter or Pro plan attached to a Team and billed monthly.

3. Service Description

Teamwise offers, depending on the selected plan:

  • Roster management with granular per-member permissions
  • Shared agenda: events, availabilities and conflict detection
  • Match and competition tracking (scrims, officials, leagues, cups)
  • Strategy creation and sharing on a tactical canvas
  • Demo upload, automatic analysis, 2D replay and demo library
  • Team and player statistics computed from your demos
  • Dedicated managed CS2 game server with automatic demo collection (paid plans)
  • Optional FACEIT synchronization of matches, competitions and results
  • Public team profile pages

The Platform evolves continuously: features may be added, modified or removed. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Statistics are produced automatically from Demos and are provided for information purposes.

4. User Account

4.1 Registration

Sign-in is performed through your Steam account; Teamwise never knows your Steam password. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Platform, and of legal age — or have the consent of a legal guardian — to subscribe to a paid plan.

4.2 Obligations

You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for the security of your Steam account and for any activity performed through your Teamwise account. Any fraudulent or abusive use is prohibited.

4.3 Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or delete your account in case of violation of these terms, after notification where reasonably possible.

5. Plans, Subscriptions and Billing

The Free plan is available to every Team. Starter and Pro are monthly Subscriptions attached to a Team; their features and limits are described on the pricing page.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Teamwise never stores your card details. Subscriptions renew automatically every month until cancelled.

You can cancel at any time from the Team’s billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid; paid features remain available until that date. When a plan ends, no content is deleted: content above the new plan’s limits is preserved, but creating new content is blocked while over quota.

Except where required by applicable law, billing periods already started are not refunded.

Prices may change. You will be informed at least 30 days in advance, and the new price only applies from the next renewal.

The dedicated game server is provisioned for the duration of the Subscription and is deprovisioned when it ends. Server credentials are reserved for the Team’s members.

6. Platform Usage

6.1 Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Platform lawfully and respectfully, for the purpose of organizing and improving your esport activity. Any unauthorized commercial exploitation of the Platform is prohibited.

6.2 Prohibited Conduct

It is strictly forbidden to:

  • Harass, threaten or intimidate other users
  • Post spam or unsolicited content
  • Distribute viruses, malware or malicious code
  • Impersonate another person or team
  • Use exploits or attempt to bypass the Platform’s security or plan limits
  • Share illegal, hateful or discriminatory content
  • Use the managed game server for anything other than your Team’s CS2 activity (third-party hosting, resale, etc.)

7. User Content and Demos

7.1 Ownership and License

You retain ownership of the Content you submit. You grant Teamwise a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, process and display it, strictly to the extent necessary to operate the Platform.

7.2 Demos and Third-Party Data

Demos may contain gameplay data of third-party players (nicknames, Steam identifiers, in-game actions). By uploading a Demo — or enabling automatic collection on your server — you confirm you are entitled to do so. This data is processed solely to produce statistics and replays for your Team.

7.3 Responsibility and Moderation

You are solely responsible for the Content you submit. Teamwise reserves the right to moderate or remove any Content that violates these terms.

8. Team Management

8.1 Permissions

Access within a Team is governed by granular permissions assigned individually to each member — there are no fixed roles. At least one member always holds the administration permissions. Members holding administrative permissions are responsible for the permissions they grant.

8.2 Team Lifecycle

Administrators may transfer administration or dissolve the Team. Dissolution results in the permanent deletion of the Team’s data, including its Demos and statistics.

9. Data Protection

9.1 Data Collected

We process: your public Steam profile (identifier, nickname, avatar); the data you enter on the Platform; Demos and the statistics derived from them; if you link FACEIT, your FACEIT identifiers and match data retrieved through the FACEIT API. Payment data is processed by Stripe and never stored by Teamwise.

9.2 Usage

Your data is used solely to provide the Platform’s features. It is neither sold nor shared with third parties for advertising purposes.

9.3 Security

We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your data, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

9.4 Deletion

You may delete your account at any time, and request the deletion of your personal data by writing to contact@teamwise.gg.

10. Third-Party Services

The Platform relies on third-party services, each governed by its own terms: Steam (Valve Corporation) for authentication, FACEIT for optional synchronization, Stripe for payments, and game-server and hosting infrastructure providers.

Teamwise is not affiliated with, nor endorsed by, Valve Corporation. Counter-Strike and CS2 are trademarks of Valve Corporation.

11. Intellectual Property

11.1 Platform

Teamwise, its logo, design and features are protected by intellectual property law. Any unauthorized reproduction is prohibited.

11.2 Third-Party Content

Game names, logos and assets belong to their respective owners.

12. Limitation of Liability

12.1 Service Provided “As Is”

The Platform is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, nor the accuracy of automatically computed statistics.

12.2 Damages

To the extent permitted by law, Teamwise cannot be held liable for indirect damages, data loss or loss of profits arising from the use of the Platform.

13. Modifications to These Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Significant changes will be announced on the Platform. Your continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

14. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may terminate your access in case of violation of these terms. Sections that by nature survive termination (intellectual property, liability, applicable law) remain in force.

15. Applicable Law

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be submitted to the competent courts of Paris, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules.

16. Contact

For any question regarding these terms or your data: contact@teamwise.gg.
