1. Who we are

Teamwise (teamwise.gg) is an esports team management platform for Counter-Strike 2, published on an individual basis. For anything related to this policy or your personal data, write to contact@teamwise.gg.

This policy describes what data the platform processes, why, for how long, and the rights you have over it.

2. Data we process

We only process the data needed to run the platform:

  • Steam account: your public Steam profile (Steam identifier, nickname, avatar), received through Steam sign-in. Teamwise never sees your Steam password.
  • Profile data you choose to enter: nationality, date of birth, phone number, social links.
  • Team data: teams, members and permissions, events and availabilities, matches, competitions, strategies.
  • Demos and derived data: CS2 game recordings you upload or your managed server collects, and the statistics and replays computed from them. Demos can include gameplay data of third-party players (nicknames, Steam identifiers, in-game actions).
  • FACEIT data, only if you link your account: FACEIT identifiers and match/competition data retrieved through the FACEIT API.
  • Billing data: subscription plan and status. Payments are processed by Stripe; Teamwise never stores your card details.
  • Technical data: server logs (IP address, timestamps) kept for security, and local browser storage described below.

3. Why we process it

We process this data to provide the service you signed up for (running your team workspace, analyzing your demos, operating your game server and subscription) — the legal basis is the performance of our contract.

Billing records are kept to comply with legal accounting obligations. Security logs are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the platform safe.

We do no advertising, no profiling, and we never sell your data.

4. No tracking

Teamwise uses no advertising cookies and no third-party trackers, and contains no audience-measurement script.

The only browser storage used is technical localStorage: your session token, your language and interface preferences. It is never used to track you across sites.

5. Who can access your data

Your data is shared only with the processors required to run the platform, each bound by its own data-protection commitments:

  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Cloudflare — demo file storage (R2) and content delivery
  • Our application hosting providers (Europe-based regions)
  • Valve / Steam — authentication
  • FACEIT — only if you link your FACEIT account
  • Game-server infrastructure providers — for the dedicated server of paid plans

6. International transfers

Data is hosted primarily in the European Union. Some processors (such as Stripe, Valve or Cloudflare) are US companies; transfers to them rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy framework.

7. How long we keep it

  • Account data: deleted within 30 days after you delete your account.
  • Team data (demos, statistics, strategies, events): kept while the team exists; permanently deleted when the team is dissolved.
  • Billing records: kept for the durations required by accounting law.
  • Backups: rotated within 30 days.

8. Third-party players in demos

A demo records every player in the match, including opponents who do not use Teamwise. This data is processed solely to produce your team's statistics and replays, is not used to build public profiles of those players, and disappears with the demo. If you appear in a demo hosted on Teamwise and want it removed, contact contact@teamwise.gg.

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for: access to your data, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction of processing, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest.

Write to contact@teamwise.gg; we answer within one month. You can delete your account yourself at any time from the application. If you believe your rights are not respected, you can lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in France, the CNIL).

10. Security

All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Access to production data is restricted, authentication relies on signed tokens, and payments never touch our servers. No system is perfectly secure, but we apply current good practices.

11. Minors

The platform is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. Paid subscriptions require legal age or a guardian's consent.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the platform evolves. Significant changes will be announced on the platform; the date above always reflects the latest version.

13. Contact

For any question about this policy or your data: contact@teamwise.gg.
